What we provide
Our services
Personal care, behavioural support and daily living support. We work alongside health professionals rather than in place of them.
Placing a young person?
Check the criteria first. If we cannot meet the need we will tell you on the first call rather than leave you waiting.

Who we support
And who we do not, so you know before you pick up the phone.
We accept
- Children and young people with learning disabilities and autism
- Physical disabilities and sensory impairments
- Mental health needs
- Children and young people aged 0 to 18 for outreach and home support
- Young adults aged 18 and over for supported accommodation
- Complex needs requiring one to one or two to one support
We do not accept
- Nursing or clinical care. We are registered for personal care, so tracheostomy, ventilation, PEG feeding and seizure management stay with the health professionals responsible for them

Local capacity
Local placements for local children
Northamptonshire has placed a lot of children out of county, and has been working to bring them back. A placement close to home keeps four things that are far easier to keep than to rebuild.

Their school
A placement out of county usually means a new school, a new set of staff and a gap while a place is found.
Their friends
The relationships a young person already has are the ones most likely to still be there in five years.
Family contact
Contact that is a short drive away happens. Contact that is a two hour drive away quietly stops happening.
Their social worker
The professional who already knows the young person stays involved, rather than handing over to someone new.
Three steps
How referrals work
A registered manager reads every referral. You get a yes or a no, rather than silence.
- 1
Send the referral
Use the form below or email the referrals team directly. Tell us the essentials and we will come back with questions.
- 2
We assess and match
We look at needs, risks and who else is already living there, then tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
- 3
Placement and transition
We plan the move at the young person's pace where time allows, and quickly where it does not.
Referrals sent on a working day get a response the same day. Urgent placement? Ring 07904 385455 and ask for a registered manager.
How we work
Our approach
Consistency before anything else
Small teams, familiar faces, the same people turning up. Young people who have been moved repeatedly need staff who stay.
Trauma informed
Behaviour is communication. We look for the reason, not just the incident.
Led by the young person
Plans are built with them, not handed to them. Their views are recorded and acted on.
Ordinary life
School, meals, hobbies, arguments about screen time. Routine is the intervention.
Regulation and safeguarding
Where we stand
We are registered with the Care Quality Commission for one regulated activity, personal care, covering homecare, supported living and supported housing. We do not provide nursing or clinical treatment, and our support workers prompt and assist with medication rather than administer it.
Children's homes in England are registered with Ofsted rather than the Care Quality Commission. We do not currently advertise a registered children's home, and we will not accept a residential placement we are not registered to take.

Safeguarding
- Enhanced DBS checks on every member of staff
- Safer recruitment, with references verified and employment gaps explained
- A designated safeguarding lead, and a written route for raising a concern
- Training before anyone works with a child, and supervision afterwards
Worried about a child right now? Contact the local authority safeguarding team or the police rather than waiting for us. How we handle concerns.
Care Quality Commission
Checked by the regulator, not just by us
Anyone can write their own quality page. This is the regulator's live widget, drawn from the CQC's own records, and we would rather you read their words than a summary of ours.
- Live from cqc.org.uk, not a copy we control
- One click from the full published inspection report
- Actions taken since the last inspection, available to commissioners on request
- A newer assessment appears here the moment the CQC publishes one

For parents and families
Looking for support for your child?

Feedback
What families and professionals say
The words below are what families told the Care Quality Commission's inspectors about our staff, quoted from the published report. For everything else there is Google, where feedback appears unedited. If we support your family or take your placements, add yours.
Relatives told us their children were treated with respect and dignity and staff had a caring and friendly approach to them.
They said they had very good relationships with staff.
Staff respected people’s privacy and encouraged them to maintain their independence.

Real reviews only
Feedback appears on our public Google listing, written by the people who gave it, where we cannot edit it.
Published with permission
Feedback about a child in care needs consent from the right person. We never quote anyone on this site without it.
No cherry picking
Google shows everything, in the order it arrived. We would rather be checked there than curated here.
